Hair restoration can redistribute hair from a donor area to selected thinning areas. Available donor hair and the cause of hair loss constrain the plan. A preferred drawn hairline is not proof that a transplant is suitable.
Risks and limitations
Scarring, infection, uneven growth and an unsatisfactory appearance are possible. Ongoing hair loss can change the balance of a result over time.
Recovery and follow-up
Visible growth takes time and may require more than one session. Ask about donor-area care and the expected sequence of shedding and regrowth. A simulation cannot predict graft survival or density.
