PHOTO PREVIEW GUIDE

How to Save and Organize Your AI Photo Comparisons

A folder of attractive images becomes more useful when you can identify what each one was meant to change. Keep a small, understandable comparison set rather than an unlabeled sequence of edits.

Keep one untouched source

Store the original photograph separately and give it an obvious name, such as “profile-original.” Avoid overwriting it with a generated output. When you create a new concept, record which source you used.

If you use front and profile views, give each its own sequence. They answer different visual questions. Do not imply that separate generated views form one consistent three-dimensional result.

Save the brief alongside the image

A short note is enough: target feature, requested change, preservation instructions and date. For example: “Upper lip, modest fullness; preserve lower lip and smile.” Use the same short label in the image filename.

Add an outcome note after inspection: useful concept, insufficient change or unreliable comparison. Naming the failure helps you avoid paying for the same unsuccessful request again. Do not keep only your favorite output and lose the context that explains it.

Keep the presentation honest

Use comparable crops and face sizes when putting images side by side. Avoid applying a filter or changing exposure to only one side. Label the source “Original” and the output “AI concept”; “after” on its own can be mistaken for an actual treatment result.

If an output changed your smile, lighting or head position, disclose that limitation in the note. Do not crop away an artifact merely to make the comparison look more convincing.

Bring a small set and specific questions

If you choose to discuss the concepts with a clinician, include the original and only the clearest examples. Write what you like about each, what should stay the same and what you are uncertain about. An image communicates a preference; it does not establish which procedure or amount would produce it.

Keep personal images private unless you have decided to share them. Read the photo privacy checklist before publishing a comparison and the consultation checklist for appointment preparation.
